Sea Technology Services featured on Carte Blanche with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the South African Marine Engineering and Robotics Center (SAMERC)

Sea Technology Services is proud to be part of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s (CSIR’s) pioneering ocean robotics program centered at the South African Marine Engineering and Robotics Center (SAMERC) based at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

Carte Blanche is South Africa’s pay-TV flagship award-winning magazine, investigative reporting and actuality programme, broadcasting throughout Southern Africa during prime-time viewing at 7pm on Sunday evenings, with a viewership of more than 500 000.

Also mentioned on the Carte Blanche program were the advances made by CSIR and STS in the use of Liquid Robotics Wave Gliders to undertake high precision robotic fisheries acoustic surveys off the South African coast.
