  • Promotions, advertising and events
  • Marketing and sales of STS services and products
  • Marketing and sales of reseller equipment and growing these agencies

Besides Natalie’s main focus on Marketing and Sales in respect of the equipment supply agencies, and business development, she will also place emphasis on establishing links with various institutions and organisations, locally, in Africa, and internationally, for the advancement of co-operative links with oceanographic equipment support training (operational and engineering).

Natalie's formal education is grounded in Commerce, Economics, Marketing & Law.

Natalie hails from KwaZulu-Natal, where she was Director of Legal Services for the KwaZulu-Natal Parliament. She retired from law in 2006 and established a successful retail business, but her heart has always been set on advancing her interest in environmental conservation work, since her involvement with the amalgamation of the numerous environmental agencies of KwaZulu-Natal, including the previous Natal Province and the old Natal Parks Board, with their laws requiring updating in accordance with new international environmental conventions and the Constitution of South Africa, formulating the new KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Services and its Board, with appropriate legislation and Regulations.

Besides being a keen equestrian (competitive 3-phase Equine Eventing and Showjumping), Dusi River Canoe Marathon paddler and jogger, Natalie is also a bit of a celebrity in South Africa, where she attained nineteenth position out of 4 500 contestants in the first MasterChef South Africa television series.

We are certain that, with Natalie joining our dynamic team, STS will continue to grow and develop in the exciting international field of oceanographic research, instrumentation and systems engineering.
